This recipe was wonderful, but I did make a couple adjustments. I added one/4 cup diced shallots, a 4 oz can of mushrooms, and utilized two frozen pie crusts instead of biscuit blend (1 for the leading and one particular for the base). I popped the base crust in the oven for ten minutes prior to filling so it wouldn't get mushy. I brushed the top crust with melted butter ahead of baking the pie. Amazing!

Rapidly and tasty


I am neither a pot pie lover or a biscuit lover, but I experienced seconds on this. I did make some additions even though. I sauted some chopped onion,celery and a few potatoes to include into the vegetables. I tho ught I made a mistake with the biscuit crust. It was rather runny, not organization like I envisioned it to be. Even so, the batter ran into the pie and baked up properly. This is a fantastic recipe. Not a plain pie crust, but a flaky biscuit topping it off. I feel up coming time I might try sprinkling a minor cheddar cheese among the veggie and biscuit levels.

Straightforward Rooster Pot Pie


This was so simple to make it was ridiculous. It was delicious and I only had to clean one particular bowl and the pie plate. Now Which is meal!

Love this recipe


I'm not a vegetable individual, so I just use a can of corn and diced potatoes. Mm! Mm! Excellent!!
